Title: How much is this mk2 worth?

Sorry no pics.  Was looking at a c plate 3dr 8v GTi today in helios blue.  Comes with 67k miles 3 owners (husband, then wife, then my mate) 15"BBS alloys blue rear lights, and big bumpers. 6months mot no tax. Lots of history and receipts

There are a few parking dents in the passenger door a small one in the front pass wing.  Other than that a bit of paint is required on back panel as its been debadged and on the skirts which haven't been fitted yet. Might possibly need a rear beam as one of the rear wheels has a bit of toe in? How much do you thnk this is worth?

My mate is asking ?500? Is this a good price? Or should I try to knock him down?

always see if you can get it a bit lower!! them wee bits of paint will cost a fortune to fix!!
