Title: Tyre Dressing
Post by: JamesR27 on 26 March 2011, 19:17
Hi,
I was just wondering whats the best thing to do get your tyres looking as good as the body work after a clean. I tend to use Meguiars High Gloss Hot Shine Tyre Spray, but it tends to get any marks over the wheels when they move due to having to much on. I do brush it on to reduce.

So just wondering what products and methods other forum members user?

ZainoZ-16 leaves a nice natural look with no slinging and is durable.

I just used Turtle Wax Wet n Black for the first time and I'm really impressed actually. Been up to Bristol and back and driving around there all weekend and it still looks spot on. Only a fiver from Halfrauds as well.

if you are getting sling off you are putting too much on, go round you tires with a seperate sponge or cloth and wipe the excess off,

i do a 50/50 mix of highstyle and megs endurance which is a nice consistancy to apply and makes it even more economical.

apply via brush as it makes it easier to get into all the mouldings on the side wall.

yes its good stuff mate and it drys too which is a bonus, brush on and remove any excess with a sponge job done.

you can also use this mixture on certain plastics to good effect too.
