Hi guys and girls i have heard that shrick cams are the ones to go for on golfs but which one exactly it is going into a mk1 cab 8v (DX motor)

I guess main decision is what you want it for. i.e. fast road, race etc. Don't be tempted to put a fast race cam in if your daily driver! been in a mini years ago where this had been done. My mate had to keep revs at about 2500rpm at traffic lights just to keep it going - looked/sounded TOO boy racer!!  :grin:

i have the usual flowed head (at least the car has)throttle body mod and bigger pistons so i should hopefully be able to sacrifice a little bit of torque for some power further up the revs the car is quite heavy so it musnt be too revvy in other words i want it all  :cry:  maybe i should have gone for that 20v turbo conversion :evil:

hey guys!

just so happens im also  looking for a shrik? cam! but who imports them into the uk???

been looking but cant find! 

p.s, its for a 2.0 8v engine out a passat!

stu
