Title: Help with colour

Hi,  I'm looking at buying a MkII Golf gti on a c plate, the colour is metallic dark blue, which looks kinda purple in the sun. Does anyone know what the paint name/ code is for this colour. I know this description isn't very good but its all I have to go on. The reason I ask about the code is, because the mate I intend to buy it from has debadged the bootlid so needs repainting along with the skirts to go on.

Helios Blue, code LA5Y is my guess.

Look on the sticker inside the boot to be sure :)

Does sound like helious to me also, only other colour is possibly Royal blue. But my Helious does just what you say in the sun.
