Title: HELP needed with adaptors!

OK so i bought a set of 18" scircco Interlagos Alloy's for my mk4 golf. I have also bought a set of FK 15mm adapters 5x100-5x112 for them to fit.
My question is when i have bolted the adaptors to the hub & then fit the alloy with my wheel bolts they seem to be to long & dont tighten up the alloy properly  :shocked:
Do you have to get shorter bolts for them to fit tightly to the hub??

get a flap disk on a grinder and just grind some off
