Not being a huge expert on golfs not sure which models this will fit on, but hey it's cool anyway!

I could do with a 6 speed box, my car revs fairly hard 3-4rpm on the motorways, and i dont really like it, it would save on fuel as well.

That's nothing! The mini is pulling 6,000rpm at 90 in top! Now that is noisy with no soundproofing.
