Do any of the units recive DAB radio?

MK6 Golfs, Sciroccos etc all come with the option of DAB. Thus the DAB tuners from those will fit a mk5 with the appropriate ariel.
I don't have DAB in my MK6, but I do have a Pure Highway in my other car. It's a seperate tuner that is supposed to mount on the windscreen like a SAT NAV but I wired mine into the car and hid the wiring behind the trim to make it invisible. Works well and only cost 50 quid.

I retro fitted a RCD510 with DAB (spent 9 months looking for one) to my GTI.  Had to install a new aerial but the system works a treat.  Also had to upgrade the CANBUS so all in it was quite expensive, but I wanted to keep it all oem. 

No i can drive around listening to 6 Music awesome :cool:

do you just need the rcd510?   anything else?

you need a specific RCD510 which comes with in built DAB.
