Title: Car mats
Post by: rakesh27 on 21 March 2011, 15:34
Guys,

This could have been asked before a million times, where i can i get only for Mrk IV Golf GTi-Turbo year 2000 drivers side car mate, i know all you say ebay.

I looked there i could see so many variations, but where the clips are to hold the mat in place to the floor, my mat has a straight edge, the ones on ebay dont, which alittle wierd.

Where would i get a replacement mat for driver side foot well.

I had this problem afew weeks ago.

And I too was worried about matts off ebay.

The solution.

Go to your nearest dealer and order some. I ordered mine and they fit perfectly.

You can't just get the drivers side, you have to get front and back, but is worth having genuine matts.

Mine were free!!!!!!

I went down to the dealers and asked if they had any MK4's that had come in on a PX, they had several that they were going to put into auction, they said 'help yourself', so I did, I got a set of Black mats with the poppers for the front and rear that look like new once I hoovered them

I pop in once every couple of weeks, if there is a decent set there I shall pick them up for you mate!!

Surprising really, if you don't ask, you don't get. Especially now as the new reg has just come out, you may well find several dealers will have them knocking around until they go to auction!!
