Is anybody able to use some computer magic and find out the prices for these VW part codes?
And possibly let me know if there wrong!
R Steering Wheel Emblem
1K8419685BPOP
Seat Tray Kit (Titanium Black)
1K0898602
LED Plate Light
1K8943021B
Not sure if this even exists:
1K0698008 ?
And can anybody find a part number for the Mk5 Golf R32 Front calliper carrier?
Thanks

What's the seat tray kit? Interesting, going for r32 brakes? :D

Not r32 but something a bit newer...
The seat tray kit is like a drawer that goes under the drivers seat. Used to have one on my Ibiza cupra, really useful

Yeah I had them in my Leons :)
Be interesting to see how much the led plate lights are, would be interested myself :)

I can see the number plate lights being about £50 or something
Just out of interest do you have any pics of your White sidelights switched on during the day, I need to get rid of mine standard sidelights, they look like candles or something!

VW OEM Led number plate lights are £49.99

EACH?

EACH?
49.99 For the pair

But it looks like to be coded in properly you're gonna need the latest central electrics module :(

Out of those part numbers the closest one that shows
License plate light - 1K8-943-021 - £8.56 it doesn't say its LED.
R-Model Badge - 5K0-419-685 N POP - £23.48
R-Line Badge - 1K8-419-685 B POP - £23.48 which is the same as your part number.

I wonder what the difference is between the r-line badge and r-model are, they might be the same thing as they're both the same price.
It doesn't mention anything about it being a steering wheel badge
How did you find out what they were? Is it through ekas or whatever it's called?
-
Just FYI mate, SteveP will be selling some R/S3 front breaks soon, PM him if your interested.
I'd like to swap the steering wheel badge to so keep us posted on how you get on with some pics of the swap maybe?
-
I think the R line badge says 'R-line' while the R badge is just 'R' I believe :)
Quinnii, if you get S3 brakes, I'd be interested in your gti brakes :)
-
No problem mate, il give SteveP a pm and we can get something sorted.
I think il have to have the badge with the R it's miles better than the tacky gti one
-
R-line one looks good :) there's a build thread on the mk6 golf forum from Poland or something :)

I'm only quoting what ETKA 7.2 says all the badges GTI, GTD R-Line, R-Model are the same price.

What am I doing?! I can't believe I have just spend 5 minutes looking at pages on the LED plate lights when I don't really need to change the ones I have!!!

I think some people are right - after all the retrofitting you can do on this site, a new car might be cheaper!
-
I think you want to change them though otherwise you woud'nt be looking
£50 for some number plate lights is out of order but im still having them!
I like shiny things!
