Title: Removing silicone from mohair roof
Post by: Mixmasta on 20 March 2011, 17:54
Hey guys,

I've read the stickies and also searched but I can not find anything so if this has been previously answered I apologise. I am buying a mk1 cabby next week which has had a new mohair roof fitted, the guy who's fitted it has been very slapdash with the silicone and there's patches where there shouldn't be!. My question is what is the best method for removing this as I would think most chemicals is going to damage the mohair.

Thanks in advance!!
