Title: Fuelling Problems

Ran diagnostics on my car yesterday, it came up with a map sensor fault and a throttle position sensor fault.

Would this be the cause of my hideously bad fuel consumption for a 1.6, its a 1.6 16v Aus engine.

The diagnostic also said the Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1 is running rich, anyone know what this means and how to solve it?
