Post by: leericho on 20 March 2011, 11:22
Hi hows everyone doing? newby on here and to golfs, just bought a 2001 gti turbo, which due to medical reasons i cant drive for a few months
so in the meanwhile let the modding begin!!
first up exhaust! right, does the mk4 have a cat in the down pipe and in the exhaust its self? are the ebay decat pipes and good? (easy to fit?) im looking for quite a loud system non resonated the one for me??
air filter, had k&n typhoon kits on previous cars and been pleased with product and performance, any CAIK recommendations?

and finally for now remaps! i live in the north east, Sunderland. best place for mapping? distance wont be an issue aslong as the product and service are spot on!!

and sorry for not doin a search myself but im partially sighted for the time being and using "the force" to right this!!

Cheers lee
