Title: realy need to get this exaust manifold heat shield off

hi there my first post on here hi everyone can any one tell me how to remove my exaust manifold heat shield on my gti mk 3 ive been tuging at it for hours and cant find any more than 5 nuts that hold it on some body pleaze help [trying to take head off]
