how do you fit bucket seats? as i am making a race car  :evil:

think you can buy brakets from demon-tweeks and not to expensive, but were do the atche to the floor?

You need to weld two bars across the floor after taking out the original runners and then bolt the seat brackets to these. The seats then ount on the brackets with the side mounts.

ahhh thort i might have to do that, at collage were making a racing porsche and it already had a racaro racing seat in, but the brackets were just bolted threw the floor, couldnt i just do that?????

Yeah you can but you should weld in some spreader plates as the floor will just tear in an accident and the seat will come loose.

its not hard to do it.. also a welders wouldnt charge much to do that mate..

ok might take it to collage, wot steel will i need?? and will a 90 amp welder be powerfull enough??

And er mine ain't welded. Mine's mounted to an old seat frame so I can use the sliders as my old man drives it too and he's shorter than me.
