Title: front drivers side low
Post by: bosco on 18 March 2011, 12:24
Just wondering I put the subframe back on my mk2 and there seems to be very little clearance between the arch and the wheel on the drivers side?
The passenger side clearance is fine and so are the rears its just the front drivers side. I have switched the shocks etc on both sides to see if the problem followed the drivers side ones but it didnt.
Any ideas?

Cheers

Are you on a slope?!   Check that the lower ball joints are slotted fully into the hubs. It should be visible if something isnt right. Have you driven it?

no slope I thought it might be that. Will check the ball joints later on thanks. Driven it around the estate and nothing seems funny turns fine and goes in a straight line fine?
