i have searched but no joy!!! my friend has a v6 4motion. the key fob was working fine till oneday he sat on it and it locked/unlocked the car afew times! since then he is unable to unlock all 4 doors with it. he can unlock drivers door on the first click but when he presses a second time to unlock remaining 3 doors nothing happens??? i have read about re syncing keys but he only has one key. can he get a second blade cut and use that in the door lock to re sync???? or does that also need to be a fob?

needs vag com to enable one click unlocking
-
it will unlock drivers door but not the rest though?
-
yeah, search for one click unlock, my car used to do the same, one click for drivers door then 2nd click for the rest, used vag com to make it so its one click for all
he must have stumbled on some secret button push method when he sat on it

Could also be that the battery needs changing, the CCM's sometimes do srange things when recieving a weak signal

Was gonna make my own thread on this but think i'll just post in this one as i've got a very similar problem.
My car remote batt died year ago so of course its not lost freq and batts dead, replaced batts (£8 for the pair!) But when i came to read guides on here to re sync i need 2 keys and i've on got 1!!! Doh!
So how much am I looking at to get my remote central locking to work? Does it require any parts etc?
