does any 1 have a problem with there folding mirrors not working if so do u know wat was up with them

Mine fold if I lean on them or pass someone a bit close on a narrow road....  :undecided:

mine always fold in on drivers side when the old woman next door parks it next to mine on the drive!!  :grin:

As said UK cars dont fold.

Im sure German cars had the option to have it fitted though  :undecided:

no uk cars had electric folding mirrors.. every other country pretty much had them.. also you can retro fit like some boys on uk-mkiv's

Not if you source the stuff from abroad and make your own looms up.. its possible for a lot less  :smiley:

My Car's mirrors can fold in if you simply push them in yourself is the OP on about wanting electric folding mirrors?

Dude hardly any cars have this?alot of 50k car's don't have it..

My new motor has auto folding mirrors.

I know some of the mk4 have the symbol on the control but that's as far as it goes, no motors or wiring.

Was just about to say the ones on my Cupra R fold electrically & that maybe the internals could be made to fit the MK4 ?

had them on my g reg mr2, nowt special, was nice to watch when i first got the car, then they never got used again.

waste, like the bmw ones that flip up and draw more attention to kids walking past *smash*
