Title: Whats this hose please - 98 Mk3 8v

Located near to the scuttle side, top of the engine.  Looks like the green hose (assuming a vacuum hose) with its braided joint, should connect to that bit of black braid you can see in photo, but what is it and what's the other one I've circled in red?

Looks like somebody has taken a feed off it for some reason, as both mine are blanked by nipples.

Hi mate thanks for that.  You mean both the pipes I've coloured are blanked?  Whats the green hose to the right connected to?  Mine's just flapping in the breeze.

Nah definately looks OE, Ill trace it back and see if I can suss it - definately looks like it should be connected to something.

Ill try and get a better photo
