Where abouts are you based mate, and how much would you be looking to spend for a genuine r32 rear bumper. I have one sat in my garage that i might sell depending on price but will need spraying as its in indigo blue. very good condition with no cracks and with it being original will be a great fit. also have the arch liner extentions aswell.

cool, well ill message you if im interested, im based in Feltham, middlesex.
i just rang up amd today for a price and diddnt know what to say when they quoted me £1001.30 lol

im considering a trip to R-tech for the turbo-back that they do for £770 fitted :)
going to buy the latest performance vw 2nite and see what i can find in there.....

i know most people go for Milltek but, what other exhausts are recommended? im looking to spend £850 max!!
as i have more parts on my agenda lol

brings me to my next question... for Hulmie, do you have any other parts for sale? TIP, hoses?

thanks

andrew

Ages - Rear bumpers new are mga money. Unfortunatley i dont have any other bits for sale, i aint really selling the rear bumper but might for the right money.

as for exhaust Blueflame are another good system. best for performance in the milltek range is the Anni style system but the r32 style system sounds nice

are blue flame good for performance?

Blue flame is a bad boi company, they made the mongoose systems back int day and did the custom system on my swift GTI.
After having a miltek on a mk 4, a magnex on my mk 3 and the blueflame/mongoose on my swift i can say all are good but id put magnex and blueflame above miltek in terms of quality.. but thats not saying milttek aint good coz they are

Performance wise, if you think their will be much in it between this lot then your a fool, i saw 10hp more on the swift witht he blueflame but thats coz we removed the cat, the  Mk4 made no difference on the rollers with the miltek over standard, but revved better and sounded a little better.. i think it all comes together when u start doing other mods tho...

a better flowing exhaust on a turbo car will give better torque and midrange. it'll be stronger as the exhaust gases will escape quicker and help relieve pressure on the turbo. I would recommend Milltek systems

on a mk4 the oe exhaust is actually quite good, its the cat and downpipe that are the main restrictions.

yea, ive been surfing youtube for the past 5 days lol and blue flame sounds good!
but i was thinking that even if i get a turbo back milltek, it should sound better when i get a stage 3 chip???

Hulmie, i checked your profile and your running just shy of 240bhp, does ur milltek sound good?
watching alot of videos, the millteks sound rather subtle on idle but when tearing away from 30-50 mpy they sound really good, is that how yours is sounding?

Thanks man

andy
