I know that a pipercross panel filter is the best thing performance wise due to "induction kits" sucking in hot air and actualy giving worse performance,But I want some woooshing sounds :( but I will never sarafice making the run correctly over sound/looks
So i've been looking around and there are some that have the filter directed away from the engine down behind the front duct/bumper almost.I presume these would be alot better? This kit i've found below looks really nice quality... What you guys think? will still be down on performance once the engine gets hot over a nice pipercross panel?

Awesome. I'm famous!
Tread carefully with any intake orientated down behind the bumper. Plenty of horror stories
If you want a better sound fit a fat turbo intake pipe, smooth the standard airbox and perhaps fit the DSG intake bits.

Search for hydro lock then pal. Get a 'gruppe M' or 'Simota' carbon trumpet. Sits behind the battery utilising the OEM air feed from the grill and sounds like no other
