Hi all, I've seen that different manufacturers say that their tar removal products can also be used to get rid of bugs etc from bonnets and lights.
Do you know if you can use Dodo Tarmalade in the same way?

It's a pot of gel, you blot it on the tar/bug splat and wait, then wipe off. Looks like it will last a very long time.

Gel might not be the best description. It's a bit wetter than a tin of Kiwi shoe polish. The pic might help.

Oh were we talking technical? :rolleyes: This product is more aimed at the guy who maybe only looks after his own or maybe 2 or 3 cars, were tar will only be in the odd spot. You can literally dab, leave for 5 mins and wipe off. It's really nice to use.
It really isn't aimed at/for cars that will be washed once in a blue moon and covered in tar, that is when Tardis will come into it's own when you can just spray the whole car with it.
