just got a bargain ,called revere london today for a set of 22" wc1's for my q7 .they didnt have belgravia silver ones i wanted and dnt restock for 14 weeks so i thought f**k it and decided to go for the gloss black ones with silver polished edge as my q7's silver this i thought wud look quite agressive. the chap at revere went down to the stock area and called me back and he only had a few sets of black left with this silver lip or the wc2 which is different wheel but because i was disapoint by not getting my first choice of silver he had another look and found a set of cutom painted ones.they are also gloss black but dnt have the silver rim and were custom painted to order to go on a vehicle which later had been cancelled order .these custom ones cost an extra 100 quid per wheel over standard price .retail price of the normal black and silver is £2395 with yokohama tyres so for that price i got wheels brand new saved 400quid as thses are custom painted plus he through in a spacing kit and the longer bolts needed also. this made me feel more at ease blowing over 2k on rims by getting 5-600 quids worth of extra's i wudnt of if i had called and they had the belgravia ones in stock. AND ON A GOLF RELATED POST I GOT SOME BBS LM'S 8X18FRONT 9X18 REAR COMING END NEXT WEEK.WOO HOO :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

ye i been umming and arrring over what to do with the golf and found a place thats getting the lm's in stock mid next week and they do staggered fitment 8j front 9j rear with a 1 and 2 step so rather than some reps that just 8j alround i thought it wud give me a better look.going 215 40 on front and 225 40 rear .cant wait. and the q7 is gona look seriously mean with these custom black revere's on it and spaced aswell.im gona wait to see how they sit before i get a lowering module. there is a 30mm drop available but its got airmatic suspension anyway and sit sweet on dynamic setting so might not bother.i'm just glad to go back to 18's on the mk4 so them 19" problems fade away,lol. :grin:

lol. i know u could buy a golf for that .lol. but then again its alot of wheel mate . 22's from revere and custom jobs aswell. still if i hadnt got a break from the chap there then it would of been nearer 3k all in. so im pritty happy at 2395 to be honest.

tech check out the link mate and look wat the silver ones are like on a q7.... IMO they look nice stand out you wont see to many people with them .mine will be custom painted in a different gloss black to standard, got spacers and bolts thrown in and got custom paint ones at standard price. it alot of money but even if i bought some 22"rs4 reps like most q7 owners do, once you add tyres there nearly 1800 quid and i'd rather pay 500 quid more and get quality wheels and tyre s and be different to the rest to a certain extent anyway.I will certainly be keeping out the gutters mate believe me at over 500 quid a corner i wont wanna scrape them thats for sure.lol. i'll get some pics up when there on i think they will look smart.we'll see soon anyway. looking forward to the staggered lm's next week for mk4 aswell get that finally back on the streets too. :smiley:

the v2 rs6's are £550 mate there £800 from wheelbase.they are et35 8.5j 19's and the rim is fowling my adjuster ring on my coilover and it took 12mm to clear it might of got away with ten if i had slimmer tyre aswell but it was the rim touching that was the problem not the tyre. if it were 8j i think i wud of been ok but wheelbase sent me right offset but to wide. think they wud be better on phase one tt in that size and width.obviously they been on the car so they wont take them back so getting rid.

offer to low tech mate and as much as i appreciate it i dnt think i will trust you to collect nearly 3 grands worth of wheels on my behalf thanks.lol. there being delivered anyway. and to revised wat i said they were £2395 but that didnt include the vat so were infact £2874 . but i still saved 400 on the painting and im getting spacers and two lengths of bolts incase i dnt wanna run the spacers and delivery thrown in. you wud hope so at thart money.lol :grin: :grin:

i cant even get 8.5 x19 on at the minute mate i think i will struggle with them.lol. i got staggered lm's coming next week anyway

just had a call from revere london and the wheels im buying they said they had in stock have apparantly been fitted on a car and the chap from revere is not happy to sell me a set unless they fresh out the box. i cud of had them and got 500 quid discount but i want faultless ones that have never been fitted. as i said before i originally wanted belgravia silver wc1's but went for black ones as there was a 14 week wait on silver ones. but now charlie from ravere has found a set in raw state and is having them finished especially so it turns out i can have the silver ones i wanted in the first place but i just have to wait a week for them ....result :smiley:

i know ye. :smiley: i wanted silver in first place them gave it thought and settled for the black when i knew i had to wait 14 weeks,now it turns out charlie's found some im quite chuffed as i wanted silver in first place.i think they will stand out more than black ones. and they look huge have you seen them on the black q7 in the link????

ye i kind of get wat u mean. i do prefer normal alloy colour than black. when going big the whole point is to stand out and look big nd you cant do that with a dark wheel imo. this next week waiting will drag now.o well i got two of my boys birthdays to shop for to keep my mind off alloy wheels untill its time to order the lm's.lol. :smiley:
