Title: Golf GT TDi Suspension
Post by: AdamG on 14 March 2011, 16:04
Hi guys,

Relatively new to the forum but have had a few golfs before hence why I think I may have been a member for a while but with no posts....

Basically after opting to go travelling and not buying my Dads mint derv mk5 GT TDi (and I mean mint - no scratches, garaged every night and driven very, very carefully) I'm looking at some mk4 GT TDis.  Now the question is are there any ways of improving/changing/lowering this version with any other oem parts that could avoid an increase in insurance premium??

Many thanks,

Adam.

Any mods you make have to be declared even if you were to fit the suspension from the Anniversary diesels.  A mods a mod and it isn't worth the risk of not declaring it

Best bang for buck is some Eibach -30mm lowering springs

Any changes need to be declared.
