ive got a 2001 vw polo 1 litre
i am thinking about superchipping the car, but was wondering if it would be worth it, would it make much of a difference to the performance?
-
1 litre polo...the only thing that will make that go faster is a rocket booster from nasa!!!!!!!!!! ;D
-
I 'superchipped' my Audi, made enough difference for me not to go back and get a refund. Lower end torque definitely improved.
You can't really go wrong as its a guaranteed money back option if you're not happy.
-
Not really worth it :(
-
Welllll.........it made a difference to the Audi, not much , I must admit, but enough to justify ?250 (although I think its a little more now). God knows that thing needed some lower end torque!!
-
I don't think it will make a lot of difference to a 1L Polo !!!
-
I think it would be minimal on a 1 litre but by all means try it.
-
Yep you might get 1bhp extra :)
-
Don't bother with a superchip.
If anything, get a DASTEK (unichip), fully mappable, rather than just a standard map superchip.
-
But what will that do for a Polo 1.0L ???
-
Has anyone thought ... is it fuel injected ?
-
It is a fully electronic multi-point fuel injection system. Still not worth chipping, just enjoy the fuel economy ;)
-
for the 2-300 squid the chips gonna cost go buy an old gti!!!!!!! and keep the polo for the fuel economy!
-
My mums got one , and it is a very nice motor. Very slow but fuel gauge just doesn't seem to move! :D
