Title: what dump va;ve do i need?

ivw just bought myself a 2002 1.8t gti and i want 2 fit a new dump valve, has any1 got any recomendations to which are the best and who best supplier is?

A Bailey motorsport piston type dump valve is one of the best on the market..


A kit similar to this is what you need!!

i really cant see the attraction of listening to a turbo'd car sneeze each time it changes gear

If you buy a kit like that, you will f*ck your car up. You need a recirculating valve, one that doesnt make a "pssht" noise, www.forgemotorsport.co.uk , look for the 007 DV, something like that is what you need. If you want to get some noise out of it buy a decent exhaust and a cold air intake for a throaty roar.
