Title: Powerflex Bushes
Post by: Harooshum on 04 September 2003, 16:18
Is it realy worth spending the best part of ?200 squid replacing all bushes and bump stops? I know that some are difficult to reach and change without the right equipment.

So i would like to know from any1 with experience about this which ones are worth changing to get that "like-new" drive, and avoid buying the powerflex full bush kit.

Oh yeah sorry 2b a pain in da batty, but I've norrowed my choice of full s/s ehaust systems to either Magnex or Sebring (two best options?).

How do I know which one affects exhaust back-pressure best? My 16v is standard (still!) with plans for a K&N induction kit coming soon. Does this make a performance difference to my choice of exhaust system?

Cheers, H.

The powerflex bushes are supposed to be good, but unless your bushes are already worn out i wouldn't bother. Go for sebring or jetex exhaust. An induction kit with a full exhaust should give you approx 10% gains.
