Them manual boost controllers can be used in different setups, I remember reading up on them time ago. If setup in parallel with the n75 you can adjust them to eliminate the spike caused, allowing you to run a boost setup without worrying the spike causing limp mode. I know forge make one.
I know some lads disconnect two connections on the n75 and use the boost controller to manually control the boost.

As for the pictured device, I have no clue.

they plug into the ecu and hold a modified map thats been set up on rollers to suit your car, basicaly like an rtec or revo map or something like that
