Fuel pressure regulator :undecided:

i think thats bin done also :undecided: the garage are currently stripping back the wiring lume i think  they are stumped aswell
-
Is it dumping loads of fuel and flooding then. :undecided:
-
Yh seems to be over feulling or feulling at the wrong time :undecided:
-
Does it tick ovr? Ignition amplifier?
-
Yh ticks ova. As I said it will start without the injectors
-
it could be the fuel injector relay mate, it might be faulty therefore it might not be opening the injector pintle at the right time therefore flooding the engine .....
-
Thanks will tell the garage in the morning. Any more ideas? Do people agree with the injector relay?
-
Or the ecu has blown.
-

Not that I know of

The car is now at an auto electrician. He believes there maybe a power surge somewhere behind the dash

Sounds like a faulty FBR (have you replaced yours recently as I had loads of issues with a batch from ebay), I remember when my failed, loads of fuel out the back, wouldn't start unless foot was down to the floor and only then would it idle for a few secs at 6000rpm before cutting out.
Just an idea

Will find out Monday... Hopefully. Bin without a car too long now! How much we looking at for a new fbr?

finally get my car back tomorow! bin with it for 3 weeks  the fault was that there was 2 wires between the dash that had burnt out and cause voltage spikes or something to the injectors but the dash is being put back in today and i pick it up tomorow!!!
