Anyone know of anywhere on the net where I can get new relays from? My electric window relay is knackered, while I was there I had a look at the others and noticed that the base of my fuel pump relay had rusty patches on it. I'll be calling VAG on monday otherwise, and in the past ordering relays from main dealers has always resulted in them getting the wrong ones the first time.

Take the relay into VAG with you then they can order the correct one from the part no. :undecided:
-
can you let us know how much it was and where you got it from when you do.
Cheers
Chris

Got the two relays from dealership in Cambridge, Vindis. Just had to give them the part number, they had them in stock. Then I had to part with a load of cash....
?14.65 Window Relay
?18.34 Fuel pump relay
VAT = ?5.77 so in total ?38.76!!!

On mine ('88 Valver) you look at the fuses, and the the relays above them, and above them there is a small silver circuit breaker and to the right of that is the Window relay.
I had to remove the terminals from the connecter block and nip them then refit aswell cos they were hardly holding the relay in (did this b4 getting a new relay)
If you still can't locate it let me know i'll take a pic and circle it.
