i had to replace the tailgate because the old one was rusted to sh!t, the replacement tailgate had the numberplate ripped off and the old screws have sheared off and will have to drill them out. does anyone have any suggestions on how to re-attach it?

Or try a product called no more nails, been on my car for the last year still as strong as when i put it on :)

use bigger screws or clean up and fill then re drill holes no need to paint as will be hidden by plate depends how fussy you wanna be there is plenty of liquid metals out there these days and lots of others ways you can do it

Or if you're really worried about it falling off then stick some bolts through it with nuts on the inside of the tailgate.

Just make sure you get a good few coats of paint around your holes first though, otherwise your new boot will fall the same way as the last.

Tailgate trim off, pliers on the screws from inside. Or I just drilled one snapped screw oit and put another in. It's tight.

put your plate in back window. lol :evil:
i used adisive tape on my old audi turbo worked great and no holes in new plates looks great
