Had mine done on Weds, with a nice bill of £482 for a new EGR Valve and coolant temp sensor at the same time.... oh well, hopefully the orange light will stay away for a while now!

Officially they didn't!
Just ring your dealer and ask if your car is on the list.

Went to VW today to buy a small part i needed. Asked about the recall for the coils and mine do need changing so its booked in for friday FOC !   She also mentioned that there had been two other recalls since new and that they had both been completed prior to me getting the car. I will ask exactly what these both were and let everyone know. One i think was an ecu update or something?! Thanks for the heads up

I had mine replaced (well, 2 of them) last week . Should they not replace all of them ? I want to check what ones they replaced, as I had this done due to a misfire and limp mode issue, took it out the following day, and still it goes into limp mode due to something misfiring .
My OH swears blind its still the coil pack, hence why I want to see what versions are in there. Looks like I'll be on the phone to VW tomorrow... oh its all fun and games  :undecided:

Lippy

If your other half lippy knows how to remove the top engine cover, then you will see whether the new coils have been replaced underneath straight away

They will only replace the coil packs that have the recall version letter.
iirc you had 2 coil packs that looked newer and I suspect those 2 weren't replaced.
