Ah bugger i gone an done it now ,
I was just trying to replace a water temperature sender on my 87 16v an i over tightened it and it snapped  :embarassed:
Now how in gods (or any one else who is listening) name am i gonna get the bugger out?
-
Whoops
Have u got any stud extractors, or know any1 who has?
Failing that ul have to drill it out!
-
I got a friend who's a HGV mechanic, i sure he'll have sommat.
Cheers

woulndt think drilling it out would help, bits of metal in the waterways and all then it would need a helicoil. you can get stud extractors cheap enough
-
you could try drilling a small hole into it, and then screwing a self tapping screw into it and once its screwed in tight try and undo it and see if the remaining part of the sender comes out. A bit 'John Wayne' but its worked for me before.
-
or if it's stuck out enough get your spurs on and your cowboy hat take a junior hacksaw and make a slot in the end use a flat head screwdriver and unscrew simple, worked on my alternator bolt yesterday!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the advice, will have a look at it an prob pay someone
