Title: wil i need a VOSA big mot?

going to strip my mk1 down that  i bought  right down to the shell then rebuild up with  disc conversion on the rear and  a different engine  (maybe turbo) after its all done  will she need a vosa test  or straight for a standerd mot?? i know ill have to inform dvla of the changes    thanx

You mean VIC test. Vehicle Identity Check.

You won't need one as the car isn't being repaired after a accident, but you will need to inform your insurer of the changes and modifications.

Just an MOT will suffice.

thanks bud  just someone was trying to say that i needed to get it to vosa  for that check
