Title: GOOD GOD!!!!

Went to vw today to see how much they would charge to change my sidelight bulb, since someone from here got it done for around ?6 (also i have a bulb ready and waiting)
and they said it would cost ?47!!!!!!! i nearly fainted in the god damn showroom!!!  :shocked:

they were saying that they would have to take my bumper off, which is crap, as we know if anything the battery can be moved. :angry:

I was not happy let me tell you!  :cry:

P.s this was vw in dartford DONT GO THERE!!!  :laugh:

i got my light bulb replaced for the brake light and it cost me 2 pound from my local garage hehe

I got quoted ?19 to change a rear tail light bulb in my mk3 at the dealers.

I didn't go in and ask by the way, it was something they picked up in the service. 

Needless to say i declined and did it myself was a mammoth job though, took almost four minutes.

i can change all the other bulbs ok, its just a pain doing the passenger side because the battery is in the way, its just finding time to do it,and when you do the weather turns bad.  :smiley:

Replaced my battery the other day ( I still had the same one in since new ).  Doesn't take long - 15 to 20 minutes max - the weather's getting better these days anyway  :smiley:
