Title: mk3 golf missfire at 3000rpm

i have a mk3 gti 8v it has a problem with a missfire at 3000rpm, if i put it to full thottle it has no pull, but if i feed power on slowly it is fine, i have put new coil leads,plugs and even a new lamba sensor and set timing up on vas machine help me please as its more underpowered then normal thanks

been checked had upper limit not reached for 02 sensor new one fitted and had timing set up

that me stuck then,im sure someone else knows whats happening or had a simalar problem on here

got new thottle body and cleaned fitted no change

Have you checked the dizzy cap?

my 2.0l 16v gti does the same thing :| try spraying dw40 on the accelerator engine side or move the pin up by one

having problems a bit like yours.check the hose that comes of side of intake manifold and follow it back,it connects just behind the brake reservoir.mine was split and caused all sorts of grief... :wink:

FOUND PROBLEM I HAD PUT AIR MASS ON WHICH WAS FAULTY UNPLUG IT AND TRY IT NOW GOES WELL
