Title: non genuine boday panels

Has anyone had any experiance with the non genuine bumpers nd plastic gti body kits that are out there? mainly the one on big boys toys, my plastics are mostly missing and bumpers are nakered so I was going to get the set from them as bumpers on ebay are few and far away from my house!  Do they fit well? once they are on can you tell they are none genuine at a glance?

Can only speak for bumpers... The BBT ones seem to get good reports on ED38 forum the only thing that seems to let them down are the mounting brackets being plastic... The actual plastic seem to be quite good... UNLIKE some others I have seen which just look cr4p!

If you order them off BBT on ED38 you get a 10% discount AFAIR, so worth signing up for!!

If you know what to look for you can tell by looking if they are OEM or not but you have to be up close.. OEM ones have a mold line right on the corner on the black plastic...

BBT ones as above but try and find someone who is breaking a genuine big bumper.

Can work out cheaper than new pattern stuff.

I go to shows looking for fake big bumpers and pointing them out  :grin: good times!
