My car is quite strange sometimes.
If i'm going down a duel carriage way or motorway, i'm doing 70 in 5th so about 3200rpm, if i take my foot off the pedal to slow down slightly, the car seems no not slowdown and i can feel the pedal depress itself then jerks back and the car jerks with it. Its quite annoying, what could it be? i was thinking it could be dirty throttle body or breather pipes because when i'm idling, and rev the car to about 3k, it takes so long to get back down to idle.
Any ideas??

Try cleaning throttle body, should make it idle better!

Yep clean the throttle body as a 1st step.

What engine is it. ? Front engine mount also gives this sensation.

It's a driver so 1.8 8v :)

do you have an ISV? (Idle stabilization valve)
Clean TB and if you can get it on VAG.COM to do a throttle body alignment - if you don't have an ISV.
Worth checking breathers, pipes & filters etc too
