what do people do with the air temp sensor on a abf lump when induction kit is fitted ?????
-
Well you need it for it to run as it should.
-
am i better just keeping the oem box then wayne ??

The Air Filter should have a hole for it, if not drill a hole for it and put the air temp through it... when I say drill it, I mean on the back plate to the filter and not the actual filter bit..

Yes, keep the airbox and de-restrict it.
Fit a cone filter and you suck in hot air, IAT sensor then reads hot air and adjusts the timing to protect the engine...so in effect you de-tune the engine.
Nothing wrong with a standard airbox...mine still uses a modified airbox and manages to make 195+ BHP and 160 lb-ft with no issues.
