what do people do with the air temp sensor on a abf lump when induction kit is fitted ?????

The Air Filter should have a hole for it, if not drill a hole for it and put the air temp through it... when I say drill it, I mean on the back plate to the filter and not the actual filter bit..

Yes, keep the airbox and de-restrict it.

Fit a cone filter and you suck in hot air, IAT sensor then reads hot air and adjusts the timing to protect the engine...so in effect you de-tune the engine.

Nothing wrong with a standard airbox...mine still uses a modified airbox and manages to make 195+ BHP and 160 lb-ft with no issues.
