Title: Hello all !
Post by: MSPAberdeen on 03 March 2011, 17:04
This is not a 'for sale' or spam type posting but I was hoping one or two of you might give me some pointers.

My missus has a Golf Gti Mk4 5 door and has owned it since brand new - she got it in March 2001 so it's comng up for 10 years old and it's just turned 30,000 miles.
Been garaged all its days and is in pristine/showroom nick with a FSH. Faithfully washed and polished every week with Autoglym products since new and has brought many admiring glances over the years. Thing is, now it's 10, my wife wants to sell it and buy a new VW Polo. The main VW dealer in Aberdeen is not interested in a 10 year old car as a trade-in, even though it's in showroom nick.
Where would the best place be to sell a car like this and not be 'done' on the price? Ideally I'd like it to go to someone who would nurture and care for it like I've done and thought here might be a good place to check....
