Hey guys,
Possibly just a stupid dilemma so forgive me, but here goes!
I'm thinking I may hopefully be the proud owner of either a mk6 GTI or a GTD in the next few months!
However I'm struggling to decide which would be the ideal choice. I can afford both, but due to the MPG of the GTI (and my heavy right foot) it might be just about affordable.
I'm thinking it would be more financially beneficial to get the GTD and have a little extra money left in the bank, but the general appearance of the GTI and the fact that it's faster is extremely tempting to me!
I'm probably just being picky, is there that much difference in performance between the two once your behind the wheel??
Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks!

Welcome I would go for the GTD too I've got a 2.0 TDI Sport 140 MK5 and it's stupidly quick when you floor it :lipsrsealed: People seem to look down on 'sporty' Diesels recently on a mini forum loads of people complained because the new Cooper SD (diesel engined S 2.0 lump!!) looked just like the petrol S
