Title: how do you bleed the power steering?
Post by: justalex81 on 02 March 2011, 22:29
As above.

replaced the power steering pump today and obviously drained what fluid was left out of the hoses. I have filled it back up with fluid and ran the car for a bit. it sucked in a load and then i topped it up again. Is there more to it?

It's an ABF engine

Leave cap off and turn the engine on, then steer from full lock to full lock 4 or 5 times. That should be enough

Yep spot on, 10 times is recommended from memory.
