Needless to say I am green with envy.
You'll need new rubber once your zipping is over.
Get some Michelin Pilot Super Sports on your return. Pictures galore please.
Enjoy!

Take plenty of money for fuel and and laps of the ring soon goes when your travelling a fair lick

Also check with your insurance company that your covered... if not take out separate insurance for the track time.

Don't forget to swap your headlight bulbs etc, as you will be on the wrong side of the road !
And keep a high-vis jacket in your boot if you're driving through France

Enjoy pal

Yep, looks like it could be awkward especially on the passenger side as it is very hard to see in..
I used a mirror on the MK5 which helped a bit.

The workshop manual mentions removing the headlight first which means removing the bumper

Nap not happy with that, bit of sticky black plastic like the old days should do the trick

Make the most of this.  When I started a thread with the same title, in the same circumstances (going to Germany), it was dumped in the general forum area and hardly got a reply after that.

It died the death.

I remember that. I thought it was most unfair, nay mean, and very narrow minded.

I wonder if thats why a lot of people complain about getting flashed with xenons? Perhaps they have that box ticked and are blinding oncoming traffic
Probably not.

IIRC thats it. I would need to check my car to be 100% sure but won't be able till Saturday to do so. But you can see the beam pattern and the lights move as you select it.

Watch out for adenauer forst.  Buy the track notes and learn the corners.  GT5 is pretty good for learing the corners but it gives no clue as to the hilly nature of the track.  Try to crack 10 mins.  If you have the opportunity paint golfgti.co.uk on one of the corners.

You've been away too long.
Don't touch the stuff anymore due to the economic situation in the country.
It's the TV series with that big tall woman writer Jessica as the detective genius.
I am just jealous that you have Xenons and I don't, so I'd like to murder you.
