Title: Non Standard grill and Stubby Aerial
Post by: jockgti on 27 February 2011, 23:25
hi,after finally getting my car back on the road,i spent some time on it today with some stuff i bought and some wee bits and bobs i wanted to do.

First off i bought a stubby aerial from ebay but when fitted it doesn't meet the aerial base and theres a gap which looks daft,so which stubby aerial are people using?

Secondly the grill, they guy i bought car off had fitted a speed camera detector which i removed today only to find two big holes cut in the grill so i was looking for a new one but a non standard one,ive seen 3 on ebay,i prefer 170607887481

160551178258
220701921704
170607887481

i managed to dewiper rear, fitted aero front wipers and remove the main rear window tints just need to clean up some last bits of glue'so i'm getting there, calling coatech of carnoustie tomorrow to book wheels in for powder coating, carbon wrapping mirror covers next and interior bits, removing rest of tints.

ended up going for a shorter aerial than standard but not a really short stubby one (http://i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac201/piebobs71/Angus-20110306-00308.jpg)
and this grill
