Title: 1.8t diagnostic port in mk1

hi i have recently doen the conversion all is running fine but i need it remapping and was told i need to wire a plug in so they can , any idea how i can ?, i have the original mk4 plug

whats the engine code for your ecu? if you arnt sure tell us the part number off it

right diagnostics is pin 19 on the ecu. run that to pin 7 of the diagnostics port, then you need a live feed to pin 16 and finally earth to pin 4

waht do you mean by the ecu ?, the two big plugs ?

so pin 19 on which plug is that ? , and do i jsut cut it and extend it so it in the car onto the diagnostic plug

there is only 1 pin 19 on the ecu, look at both plugs till you find it ;)

can cut and extend or trace the wire back to where it finishes in the loom, up to you
