Post by: Starry on 03 September 2003, 10:09
i have a 1.8 turbo 1999 and it drives like a normal car with no turbo all of a sudden for some reason. I have had a look for pipes off or split pipes but can't see any. The car drives with no other probs, its smoothand pulls like a none turbo car . Im getting stressed now because im being left at the lights by everything. ??? ???

Can't have a lot left on the warranty if you got one at all still. Does the turbo spin at all? you should be able to hear it when you rev the engine.

the warranty is out. it does not spin up when you put your foot down but you can hear it release the pressure when you change gear.

Surely if there is a pressure build up , the turbo must be spinning?
