Title: air con on a j reg

morning all. Ive got a j reg mk3 with air-con. when i took it to garage he was surprised it had air-con. Are there many early ones around with air-con?

I can't say Ive seen any that early off the top of my head but im not that surprised considering that some late mk2 GTI's & G60's had air-con as well.

It was an option but not that common on the early ones.

ok cheers. didnt really think about it til the mechanic mentioned it
