Noticed a spilt in the break servo pipe (which explained the Engine Hesitation) Iv taped it up and the engine is smooth again.
Iv managed to get hold of a servo pipe from ebay which I need help fitting, its harder than it looks lol.
Also I got the cam cover removed last year and I just want to check if the timing is 100% spot on, I dont have the cover anymore to check the marking.
Is there anyone in London who can help out - I live in east london and can drive down.
I would be most greatful.

dont need the cam cover to check the timing. the cam sprocket has a punch mark on the inside face that lines up with the top of the head. for the crank use the marks on your flywheel rather than the crank. basically read my digifant setup guide in the mk2 section for tips on getting the basic timing right, then for the ignition timing you just set that when the car is idling. if its a gti set it with the vac hose to dizzy disconnected and unplugged, if carby leave it connected. easy :)
