Iv got an E reg mk2 golf 1.8 16v gti with a kr engine and when I get in the car in the morning it starts up fine but if I drive down the rd to my work and turn it off and then try and start it again it won't start as easy it will start after a while but i don't under stand what's going on. Any one got any ideas?

could be the fuel accumulator or non-return valve in the pump, need to get k-jet pressure gauges on it to be sure though I'm afraid.
try disconnecting the 5th injector to see if that helps, failing that disconnect the wur

I get that in my mk4 but sometimes it doesn't even want to start when it's cold lol
-
Coolant temp sensor 100%, all golfs suffer from these, the sensor tells the ecu the engines cold when its hot and just over fuels it, some times the switch breaks down complety and they wont start hot or cold...

Its a k-jet, mechanical fuel injection, no ecu.
