Title: Missfire at 2500 rpm
Post by: aquanaute on 25 February 2011, 21:31
Car sat idle for a while but driven it the last two days and getting a missfire at 2500rpm, no dash lights on and only around this rev range. Could this be a coil pack going down or something more serious?

Check your engine code and coil pack part numbers - you may be eligible for a free VW replacement as there has recently been a recall. Additional info thanks to Aaron can be found here
