I am now realising how much of a pig that is going to be to fit!
-
Really? It looks easy!
-
Did it come with all the other parts as well then? From what i saw in the US parts catalogue a few days ago it looks like a pretty major job.
-
It is going to be a nightmare I think.
All that's involved (according to the seller) is plugging it into the ecu and turning it on through vagcom.
After disconnecting the battery, taking off the steering wheel, removing the dash, threading the loom, finding the right plug and putting the whole bastard thing back together.
It will make me feel pretty gangster though.
-
Definitly Gangster
The company selling it, seem to be pretty helpful! They supplied all the info you need to fit it too!
-
what exactly does it do?

Its a piece of p!ss to fit, the only pain is getting someone to activate it with VDCS but that easy if you've got it.
I love my cruse control, its something to play with while driving. :)

Will that work on a diesel.
-
It will only work on a diesel apparently.

Ah right interesting, i didn't realise any of the mk3's had fly-by wire accelerator peddles.
-
Doesn't one of the VR engines too?
Possibly in the transporter?
